We are currently accepting expressions of interest for our next group starting in June 2024.
'Discoveries'
‘Discoveries’ is a semi-structured support and psychoeducation group program for women aged 18+ who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The focus of the group is on the impacts and effects of the abuse, and ways of coping. Some of the topics discussed include trust, self-blame, and building relationships. Participation is FREE of charge.
Important update (May 10, 2024):
Our next Discoveries group was initially scheduled to start on May 8 2024, however the starting date has now been postponed. There are still available spots for the next group, please get in touch with us for more information. At this stage we can confirm the group will run for 8 consecutive weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm, and the starting date is TBC.
Important notes:
A successful pre-group interview is required prior to admission into the program.
Registration is on a first come first served basis, and a waiting list will be established for future groups.
If you are interested in the group program but your availability is preventing you from attending, please register your interest with us anyway. We are accepting expressions of interest for future groups as well (including day time options).
