Canberra Rape Crisis Centre

Confidentiality is an important part of the support relationship for women and children recovering from recent sexual assault and/or child sexual abuse.

Clients seeking support from CRCC can expect that information about their identity and use of the service will not be disclosed to any other person or agency without their prior knowledge and consent. The written consent of a service user is required before the contents of a client file are disclosed.

Confidentiality is limited if the safety and well being of the service user, worker and/or another person is at risk.
