Beyond our direct support services, CRCC works in partnership with the wider health and community sector and welcomes opportunities to share our expertise with the broader community.
CRCC partners with Capital Health Network (CHN) to deliver the Link Worker program – a service designed to support general practitioners (GPs) in the ACT to identify and respond to patients impacted by sexual violence.
Our Link Workers work directly with GPs, providing a trusted point of connection between primary healthcare and specialist sexual violence support. The program recognises that GPs are often the first point of contact for someone disclosing sexual violence, and ensures they have specialist support to draw on when responding.
The Link Worker program works exclusively with general practitioners. It is not a direct client service – community members seeking support should contact our crisis line on (02) 6247 2525.
